Hi guys- sorry I've been scarce around here. I did go to Armorcon (the old AMPS East) over the weekend in Danbury, CT, and brought along a trusty build- actually at the encouragement of my awesome and supportive wife (yes, I got one of the really good ones!)- Dragon's 1/35 M2 halftrack. Never competed at AMPS before, so I entered in the intermediate class. Brought home gold.

Nice job, Dave! Danbury...is a pretty nasty hike from up here. I heard the show didn't get out until 6ish, which puts me back at my house at around 2:30 in the morning (assuming I can find coffee at that time of day to get me all the way through). Ouch. That being said, I WILL be at Nationals!

Hey Marc- thanks! Yeah I can see where it'd be some serious drive time for you. It's a little ways for us too, and the Mass Pike just ain't friendly westbound in the afternoon. I'm seriously looking at attending the Nats myself

Good work with the prize! How many models will you enter next year? Only 12 months to go.

Thanks very much for the kind words guys!
John- not sure, I'm a notoriously slow builder....but you never know!
Brian- thanks for the 9.5! No, actually I didn't drill out the .30 cal barrels- that was kit engineering. In my opinion this is one very well engineered and detailed kit. Dragon instructions too, unfortunately, but only a minor goof in one or two spots.
