I went ahead and selected Gunmetal gray for the base color. As a test, I wanted to try handbrushing the paint down thinned with a little bit of water. Not even going to comment on the thinned black paint used for the base coat/primer. A couple of things, one I wanted to see how the paint covered over the black and test the durability. Two, I wanted to see how it looked once dry and if it would give off the metallic sheen I was looking for without being too shiny. The whole model is not painted, just part of the bottom to test durablity once dried.

Looking it over, it looks pretty good. I know I am going to have to do another layer, but overall it is coming along.

Decided on a change of color. Wanted a little bit darker color with a metallic sheen. Was able to come up with this.

Thanks, I know it can be hard to see with the black basing, but I am liking the gray metallic look to it. Good thing I wrote down the color combination since I had to stop half way through.

Painting is done. Just need to make sure some nooks and cranny's are done. Next is the turrets, then the glosscote and decals.

Turrets and touch up paint completed. Fixing the base and prepping for the glosscote. The lighting in the office I took the pictures makes the color stand out more. Enjoy.

Addition of the gun turrets really do make the ship look complete now.

Just about done. Weirdest thing though, I am hand brushing Future and it seems to eat into some of the paint. Nothing major, but still weird. I might have to redo the primer and paint on some of it, but to be honest, most of it is only where I can see it. I will think on it. Tomorrow should be the completion of the base and then the decals.

Future dried. If I'm not carful, the paint can be easily scrapped off, but you have to make an effort to do so. Here is the model as it stands now.

At a little bit of a crossroads right now. About to do the decaling for this as the EAS Titans. On some of the pictures I've seen, there is a letter or letter combination after the EA insignia. Does anyone have any idea as to which letter to use? My decal sheet has a V, A, C, H, and P.

I looked over the screen grabs I was able to find and I noticed that the letters do not exactly match font wise as what I have on the decal sheet. So I will call this one done once I put another coat of Future over the decals. Enjoy everyone.
