Thanks Andy. And for the "I'm gettin' old!" statement... I got to see my grandson do that this year. Thanks Anthony. I really need to do something with some color fr the next one. I feel like I have dog vision.

That landing gear setup still weirds me out. How the hell does it work??

I'm with dupes on this...when I saw that gear setup, I was a bit taken aback. Those Ruskies sure do have interesting engineering.
Great work thus far, Marc.
Did you break into triple digits on the decals yet or is it still making you break out in cold sweats (if that is the case, the proper treatment is two bourbons....and then two more... 😆)

Thanks fellas. Landing gear is for sure strange. No rules say wheels have to be side by side. In this case they fold forward but I got a feeling that it just simply wouldn't have fit with the wheels side by side if they went in either direction due to some internal structure harder to change. You know that whole necessity is the mother of invention thing Boyd, WAY over the 300 mark. The 4 R-60 missiles, 1.5 inches each, had 108 decals by themselves. That got reduced by using only the ones the were visible by the human eye. And I went the double martini route. Worked just fine

Landing gear is for sure strange. No rules say wheels have to be side by side. I was thinking more for during the actual landing process - the two back wheels are taking the weight of the entire plane, which obviously is heavy enough to need four rear wheels. Awesome finish buddy! This thing looks stellar.

Andy, Marc... thanks guys.
The wheels pivot like on an the larger airliners so the back wheels can hit the ground and actually not take the full weight the of jet.

I've never built a model of an aircraft in my life...If I were to build one, I'd be tickled pink if it came out half as nice as this one.
Beautiful work!!!

Hell of a finish, Mark. I really like how the finish came out. What did you use for the pink weatherstripping on the canopy?
