Well here is another small update.
Most of the work has been on the rear quarter. The idler wheel mounting bases, the propeller mounting, that funny hump on the top rear quarter and lastly the new idler wheel. In the case of the idler wheel, I have tried to capture how I go about making a part. I started with some wheel/round part and worked from there. And to any of our fine IPMS darlings that might pop in, NO the prop mount isn't 100 percent accurate..... I don't care BLLLLLLLLLaaaaaaa, (that was me sticking my tongue out at them).

So this is kinda how I go abooot things.... I started with some basic measurements,a bit of 30 thousands plastic sheet...... A little zap, lots of cursing and swearing...Triple checking my FRICKING MATH....(GD Mrs McCarthy and her crummy math class.......) well then abooot 30 minutes later VIOLA a rough engine cover for the T-37A

I could probably ask you 1000 questions and not even scratch everything I want to know and understand about how you do this.

CD....... As I tried to say, I will attempt to answer any and all questions, that's one of the many things I learned from the great Shep Paine. As to how i do this it really is and has been trial and error. For me and me only my whole life can be summed up that way. When I learned to cook, trial and error, years later a Chef. Firefighting, trial and error, years later a Lieutenant. modeling, MANY MANY errors, put lots of attempts. Point being NEVER be afraid to try. Like I said earlier, draw the thought out, then maybe a quick thought or two on how you can do this....then dig in. My HUMBLE advice to anyone wanting to scratchbuild.....Go forth, just know you won't always produce with your hands what your brain thought......... Between the Ferdinand and the Lynx I did for a friend I drove myself crazy.... But in the end I learned INVALUABLE lessons, I truly mean that......
If you have questions shoot me a message or PM i will certainly try to answer honestly

Making good progress PJ, just remember that there's always more than one way to mathematically arrive at the solution so long as you 'show your work'!

Almost, I teach 6th grade Social Studies and have to constantly deal with math questions for my home room group I see daily after lunch. I feel your pain!

Solid work as usual PJ! Trial and error is the only way we learn! The math gets easier...the more you do it! Unless you're like m wife. In which case join the Grammar Police to suppliant your income! Keep plugging away!!
