Baycon 2016 in the books!

Baycon, our annual event, was attended today and lots of quality builds were present. Nice to see some of you, and I finally met Dupes, although he came empty handed bc of family needs. It was a pleasure to meet you and nice to get reacquainted with Todd and others. I hope all who visited enjoyed it as much as I did.

Ahh yes, another BayCon is behind us now! Always great to see you Gil, and seeing your fantastic work in person! Just a fun show all around and lots of friends...couldn't ask for more!

Hey, same! Good to finally get to talk in person. Yeah, I was pretty bummed I didn't get to enter anything...also bummed I could only stay until noon. Had to blow out of there pretty rapidly after an accelerated vendor-raid and contest perusal. Easily could have yapped until the show was over with you and all of the other fellas. I'll be sure to schedule next year well in advance.

Speaking of, how far ahead of time are the various challenges/theme stuff decided?

Pretty darn good showing I must say!!! spending the day with friends talking plastic, and oogling all the goodies.... What better way to spend a sunday>>>?? Gill good seeing you again!! Ray, Ed, Pete, Steve, Rob (both of them), Todd, and all of us (Nader the parking lot supplier LOL)... Great day with all of you!!

Brian, he was gone before we got back from lunch! Dupes did the Ninja purchase thing!

Dupes....haven't a clue if and when they post the theme stuff! AMPS is basically building a model duplicating an existing picture from any era.

I think the former Terry Sumner challenge is now taken over by Peter Jardin and he announced that his challenge will be the F-14 for next year. Steve Kwasny's armor challenge is "Big Cats." Any armor with a feline name, so the choices are varied.

I know it! I had less than three hours to spend raiding vendors, ogling builds, and talking to all of "the regulars" before I had to blow out of there. Too bad, it looked like a really good turn out. Would have loved to stay...and enter the contest!
