G'Day all. Based on a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, the British Armored Car was a preety uncommon, but useful vehicle, and the British threw it on the war fronts as soon as some initial problems were solved. For example, the spoke wheels werent compatible to muddy and sandy conditions. Talking about the wheels: The car was used up to mid 1940ies, in some countries even longer than that, and was outnumbered because there was a lack of suitable wheels. Fired up with a 12cyl RR engine, the cabling was totally fun. The manuals say that the hod should be closed - what a waste of detail imho. So I cut the cowiling in threee parts, added tons of lead wire and let it open. The figures come from two sets: MasterBox "Allied Forces , North Africa Battle series" (#MB3594) and Riich Models "Road To Victory" (#RV35023). Yes thats right, its Monty himself walking beneath the car. Conclusion:If youre looking for a kit thats highly detailed, an uncommon subject an you dont want to pay too much for it - this is one of those kits... Next on the to-do list: Revell Tornadoes (IDS + GR.4), RAF Mustang or a Revell Me 410. Help, cant decide!!!

Many thanks. The "Stop!" sign was handpainted on a scrap piece of plastic after a real sign: Some engine detail:
