Thanks chaps.
Back now but waiting on a drop of paint before progressing. This will probably be the last build for a while as I intend to take a break.

Thanks buddy, it's going fairly well I guess! Right, small problem because I mislaid a fairly important part just before I went on hols. Visions of trying to bodge (scratch) a suitable part made me shudder but fortunately I found it attached to a piece of Blu Tac where I must have left it after spraying! Slightly encouraged by this unexpected stroke of good fortune I pressed on today and took the paintwork a stage further. Just needs a teeny bit of tweeking but it's pretty tidy, honest it looks better in the flesh! Disregard the join between the yellow and blue on the tailpiece, that is covered by a decal. Oh, the Fluorescent Yellow is a real bitch to apply... Thanks for following.

Hi Dicky, thanks old chap.
As for colour, I may be wrong but I think Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue is more appropriate for the Scooby, the Yam is in Telefonica Blue (TS-51).
Need your addy fella as I have this Pearl White for you.

Slow progress due to precious little bench time. Here's where we're at, first of the decals applied along with seat unit, remainder of the hoses and upper exhausts. Cheers.

Hello chaps. Thanks as always for the kind words. CB, 'seem' is the operative word, they're not that clean really! Ok, popped the other exhaust on and sorted the remainder of the decals on the tail. With that sorted, it became a relative sprint to the finish really although the decals for some reason seemed far more tricky to apply than in my previous builds. With the decals on, I simply screwed the panels on being very careful of the repaired fairing part then added the final two parts, the fairing supports. I need to address a couple of decals as they haven't sat down that well and also attempt to touch one damaged one in with paint. And here we are... More pics in the usual place, as always, thank you all very much for following and taking the time to comment.

Being one of Tamiya's older ones, it's not as sweet as their lates releases but comes out ok with some effort!
