Looking good!
Did you use Tamiya paint or something else? From the jar or lighter mix? Is there a camouflage plan existing for the M88 or is the scheme simply to your liking?

When thinning Tamiya acrylics for the spray gun my advice is using either their own yellow cap lacquer thinner or alternatively from Gunze (dark blue label), not the conventional acrylics thinner. The colors then spray even better (much finer and smoother), though the smell is rather annoying.

Tobi thanks for the advice! The smell i can do without. That's why i can't use a their rattle cans in the house.

Evening fellas! Got an update but no pics.Camera battery died and is charging as i type. All the tools, mirrors and spare roadwheels are on and two extra pullys with hooks that came in the kit.Figured a recovery vehicle can never have enough spare parts.Lights and periscopes are also painted.Looks like i'll be taking this to work tomorrow and getting the clear coat on and ready for decals. Thanks for looking in.

Evening fellas! Got the clear coat on this morning and the markings on when i got home from work.I have to say i'm really dissapointed with the decals. They had a protective paper on them and it had some kind of addhesive on it.I had to carefully scrape the paper off.If you look close enough at the crosses and numbers on the front you'll see a little bit of white and faded look.Hope you like it anyway. 001 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 002 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 003 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 004 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 005 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 006 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 007 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 008 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 009 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 010 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr Thanks for looking,as always ACW.

Really, really well done! You caught the beefiness of the basic vehicle, and the delicacy of the rigging perfectly.

That beastie looks great. This town could have used that when we had our snow, ice and freezing rain.
