Thank you Todd! I made an error on the winch cable coming out of the hull. It should run on top of the boom and not under it.Trying to figure out how to fix it and if its worth the trouble.

Morning fellas! After looking at instructions awhile ago i noticed the winch cable was on wrong. After a quick snip with the sissors and an extra coupler AVF so gracely provided it was fixed.

Let's hear it for the Madsen LMG, designed at the end of the 19th Century, adopted by the Danes in 1902, in action for the Russo-Japanese War (1904-5), officially retired from Brazilian Police service in 2008, but seen on video being used by them in 2015...

Morning fellas! After looking at instructions awhile ago i noticed the winch cable was on wrong. After a quick snip with the sissors and an extra coupler AVF so gracely provided it was fixed. I hate it when that happens. Yesterday I mixed up the rod supports on my Pz.III PE fenders and stupidly soldered the left first station to the last position. Got it fixed two hours ago, but the surgical practice was good enough to temporarily raise my heart frequency. You need quite some heat to de-solder the parts, but not too much, so as not to ruin your previous work, as it would contain some pretty delicate and elaborate sub-assemblies! Already had a peek for the M88 in my favorite online store, from which I received a voucher for all the money I spent there last year! Maybe...

Leon, aren't all AFV Club kits "overengineered"? I used to think that AFV Club was actually a German company that was using a Taiwanese shell company. If you have worked on anything German you will know what I mean, why use 1 part when you can use 4. Talk more soon, Joel.

Joel, your definitly right! i've built a few kits that i thought were ovely engineered.I have built one of their HTs and replaced most of the kit parts with AM PE.
Anthony thank you!

Afternoon fellas! Finally finished getting the primer on.I used Vallejo panzer gray as that is all i have on hand.I have to admit i don't like using a dark primer on green plastic.Really hard to see what is being covered and i don't have the best lighting either.I had to thin the primer and shot it at 20 PSI.Overall it came out pretty good. The only mistake i made was doing the rigging before painting. It's a beotch to manuvere around.Appologies for the dark pics. 001 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 003 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 004 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 005 by Leon Dorak, on Flick 002 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr Thanks for looking! As always,ACW.

Kickin' Leon. What are you going to hang from the boom? a Leopard power pack or a M48A2G2 turret? Talk more soon, Joel.

Leon, IIRC, Legend has a M48 Power Pack. I also believe Perfect Scale Modellbau has a Leo pack and a A6 engine compartment. Hope this helps, Joel.
