As promised a couple of pics of the T-62 before washes. I'll take more after the washes and progress has been made. Sorry for the poor quality pics, took them quick.

Why worry, each of us is wearing an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on his back.

Thanks fellas for the support. Haven't been able to work on anything due to lack of time and also too damn hot and humid in the cave, even with a fan and AC in the next room. Once it cools down the Panther will get some chipped Red Oxide primer and then the Gelb base color.

You are really a big teaser! Looking good... what did you use for base coat? Rust as in the first picture?

Andy, the rust was first done with Tamiya browns, but then I went over it with the AK rust colors. The pink/red color is Poly scale, which is hard to find now. I used the AK paint to lighten the red so it was more pink than red. The reason for the pink is that this is an old rust bucket and if you look at pics of old German tanks and see the red oxide turns pink from the sun...weathering basically.

Andy , no bud, scopes not here yet... ;D ;D ;D Did a bit of work on the turret and next will be the hull. Then I will fine tune the rust areas before applying some camo paint. Slow but steady progress. The humidity doesn't help right now.

Yeah that red/pink is something else eh....LOL it will get toned down when the weathering is done. Still LOTS to do on this one. Will also use the AK rust colors on the JP when I get some time.
