M9 ACE - whhels & tracks - almost done

I started this one a few months ago but had to shelf it to get some commission work done first. Hoping to add the final details and start the painting this month.

Nice to see this one show up Bro! I loved working on mine...not a bad kit at all. Tracks kicked the old arse a bit, but overall pretty good. Bring on the paint!

Thanks brotha. Yeah it is a fun kit, tracks were actually not too bad. The Shilka tracks are much worse.....um, I still need to finish those lolol. Debating still if I will go with all green or sand color.

you got all that done in one day!!? My kids need to friggin grow up LOL .... M-9 is kinda like a tracked pan scraper if anyone knows what that is... got a bowl and a pusher in the bowl... the blade on front is like a dozer blade.... designed for quick and dirty emplacement construction for tank platoons and for breaching earthen obstructions.

ok an update...before I forget and while I have the time. Primer and base colors are all acrylics from Vallejo. Next up clear satin and decals, then filters,wash and some fun with the weathering.

Thanks fellas. I like the color but prefer dark colors as weathering such as dust and dirt can be more easily seen. I'm using the awesome Sabot Publications book as reference.

Managed to get the decals on and a filter and wash. Will have to take new pics as you really can't see much in these. Need to change the camera settings.

Still plugging along on the ACE. Started working on the balde and have also added various tonal effects.

lololol Not a wreck Andy.
Started with some green and then air brushed some base rust. Rest is all brush work.Some rough dry brushing for faded color.
