There was a great program on BBC 1 on Monday evening past, presented by Dan Snow, it looked at what is burried/crashed around the Northern Ireland Coastline.
They looked at bunkers, airfields, buildings, over 100 german u-boats skuttled and a Spitfire that crashed just over the border with the Republic of Ireland. What they recovered that was preserved in the bog amaziing.
Definately worth a look back in the BBC iPlayer, and next two episodes, next week Shermans dumped off the coast after the war.
Chris.
