Certainly one Herculean effort! Tremendous work across the board! Sometimes our best work comes from the trial and error method! If nothing else, you now know what not to do! Keep pushing this one!!

T, thank you sir... it's a start. I like the details, and support I'll get with this version. The only downside I can see is that, I'll be helping the guys over a Meng put their kids through college....I already bought two more set of Nuts/Bolt heads/Rivets from them. And I can see I will need more...............

Thank you again KIND Sir..... I will be completely honest, the first time was always nagging at me like I cheapt/wimped/half-assed out. Yes it's easy to say that now, but that's the way it felt. Thanks again...... Stop writing on my posts, lets see that new build of yours..... LOL....it's been like two days, why isn't it done yet

Yes, the rework is coming along nicely!
Mr. T, work a few midnight shifts in a row, or how bout a few yrs, like 15+, then tell me sleep is over rated, HA! Ah, don't see the suits as often, no complaints.
It's easy to lose track of time in the bunker, but it's never a waist of time, IMHO.

Good to know PJ! Keep those fires lit! LOL...been there done that! Not seeing anyone, especially management, always a plus! LOL Been going to bed at 12 to 1Am and getting up between 4:30 and 5:30am since I was probably 17. Personally I could care less about sleep...too many thing to do and 24 hours just doesn't cut it! I do enjoy the occasional late afternoon power nap from time to time though!

Joel, Bill, THANK YOU for the kind posts..............
So a while back the discussion focused on the Kwk 39 L/60 barrels' taper. To that end, I gave my good friend Dierk a fair ration of "you know what". He took it well, and gave back as good as he got. ALL IN GOOD FUN OF COURSE........ Turns out that back and forth was a real godsend. To that end I am very grateful to all that pointed out the discrepancy...So after searching the Kwk 39 and really looking into that taper, it became very obvious that my original barrel was way off...... so here is the new designed barrel...I'd say it's abooot 75% done
