Doing this for the same 45 day GB mentioned in Matt's thread. Smaller kit so should not be a problem meeting the deadline.
What's the 1st thing ya say with a 1/72 kit after ya just finish a 144th scale kit? "Damn, these ferkin' parts are HUGE!"
Didn't realize when I bought this kit that it was a re-pop on the Platz kit, which didn't bother me at all. Having built a bunch of there 144th kits I knew it was going to be a honey. So far it is.
Started by thinning the side of the seat which ended being a waste of time since the PE arm rest cover 1/2 and a wider gluing surface would have been handy for the handles. Filled the holes in the IP with Bondic for the instrument glass. Putting enough for a slight bugle make sit a nifty magnifier of the printed dials below. Nose weighted with BB's. The big very clear bubble canopy shows all of the cockpit detail.
