This is one of my older figures but a bitof a favourite. It is the now out of production United Empires 54mm resin kit painted in oils and enamels. Groudwork is Milliput with Woodland Scenics long grass and a root from the garden.

yep, that does look fantastic. Both fig/horse and the ground work are aces.

Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated. Interesting that you should show the flag Chris as I have a stalled work in progress of an Irish Brigade standard bearer at Fredericksburg. The reason I haven't pressed on with it is getting my head around painting the standard!

Very nice work Jon! It's always neat to see what can be done with the figure/base combos.

Thanks guys. Chris S 67 I did think of going down the decal route but decided to 'do it properly'and painted the front of the flag. The real issue is that the standard was made in Silk by Tiffany's and e=was only embroiderd on the front meaning that the the detail on the reverse is the back of the front; if that makes sense. So all I have to do now is paint the back to match the front and that way madness lies Thanks Chris S, us figure painters need to stick together and convert more people
