It's been a long time, at least THREE month since I worked something. A lot of professional work, some health problems, I was too tired every time I tried to sit at the workbench. This time I had to start a project, a Japanese vignette, for a good friend who already made the plane. Florin sent to me the figurine, a resin one, with good details, event that it required some putty. I present you the different phases until now. As usual, Vallejo colours, washes and inks and a Heavy Metal from Scale75, Winsor and Newton brushes and a wet palette. I'll have many errors to correct. Cheers, Nicolae
Thank you, Andy. Just a crazy period, a lot of work, very tired and some health problems. But now I'm coming back, even that I still miss the time for the hobby. I hope at least to finish the projects started last year. Warm regards, Nicolae
Hi Nicusi, I am glad you are feeling bit better and that you want to be back at the bench.
The Ultracast range of pilots a great I have done a few. This is coming along really well and I look forward to see you progressing with him, and to reading that your health/work problems are improving.
Thank you, John! It was my first experiment with Ultracast, indeed, a pleasant one. At the beginning, I was somehow worried with this old Tamiya figurine, but during the painting process, I realized he could be quite a nice surprise. It's not the quality, but recent eyes problems that didn't allow me to make justice to this figurine too. Cheers, Nicolae
