Suchoj PAK-FA (T-50) 1/48 HPH

Starting a new project with a HPH kit. Thats something new for me. Why this kit? Its a unique kit, its a plane with an awesome shape/design and it involves new techniques I never did before. Its complete resin and fiber glas. The hull is in one piece and cockpit and wheel wells need to be cut out. HPH provides only decals for the prototype #51. That one has the splinter camo. There is a T-50 with a Shark scheme (#55), but I havn´t found the necessary decals on the aftermaket. Maybe I am lucky during te build and find some. Otherwise this is going to be like the box art.

Wow....impressive kit! Looking forward to seeing you dig in! Best of luck cutting the openings...I would figure that being the biggest challenge at this point! Time to get busy!

cut the openings out with the tools I show here. Also sanding paper. Anyway. Cutting them out was not the problem. Next steps are the cockpit and the front wheel well.
