I wish I could say something about this, but I can't see the pictures Dierk, perhaps you know about the Afghan war and participation of the USSR in it a little. The idea of a diorama - a column of the Soviet armored machinery passes by the Soviet post in the mountain pass. At this moment soldiers as it usually happens, on a post live life. Someone plays the guitar, a part of soldiers left the posts and listens to the singer, a part of soldiers talks among themselves - wide Russian soul.

Still can't see the pictures That's a shame Dierk. There are lots of beautiful Russian lady soldiers riding Urals through a mountain pass and some gorgeous Russian tank girls. I am sure you would have enjoyed seeing these so much. Never mind.

Hi, guys! Collected army point of water supply for the diorama because soldiers in mountains need to drink water. Near it there will be two more figures - one will gather water in a bucket, and the second will talk to him about life or about the Russian girls) Ahead there is a lot more interesting...

This dio sure looks impressive judging by the size of it. I guess it's displayed in some kind of museum. Apart from that, I 'll repeat my moto for designing and building dioramas: Go small and all the little details and effort pays off. Go big and you get tired and bored to work on every detail and cm of the dio , the quality goes away and you end up with repeated patterns ( this is a common error made by the newcomers in hobby ). Just my 2c speaking for dioramas generally.
