Thank you John!! OK Then!! Bit o'where-I-stand!! ;D Going off the path a bit here. Some base coloring is done with Tamiya Mixes and around noon today I applied some K4 Rust bast and catalyst. I all plays out, I will get some interesting colorings and textures to boot inside this little guy... Kind of a bad pic, but you get the idea of where the engine is going Stuff is still drying a bit and the colors will change by morning. I hope to get some clear down tomorrow at some point and start a couple washes to pick out details. As always, thanks for having a peek!!

Me thinks your right Tony!! ;D ;D I still think the cables running to the odd shaped "y" piece of steel in the original photo I posted are detonation cables and there is about 10 or 29lbs of Comp B hiding under the rear bumper!!

Hey Guys!! Thank you for the great comments! I really appreciate it! Richard - Glad your enjoying this. Some if not most of the interior is your K4 products buddy!! I plan on adding some of this to the review forthcoming soon. I used your base rust and A, C, G & H catalysts along with Real rust, dark and Light Rust pigments. See below... Mr. S.....LOL...putting it a gently as I can...was moving nicely along this afternoon and got the base color down. Started to apply the camo and the AB, started, spitting paint. Leaving a splatter of little green dots ............. Anywho, I cleaned up, went out and did some things, came back and re-shot some base bringing myself back to start, did not pass GO and did not collect my $200 (Monopoly Game?? my attampt at keeping my cool ) My Sotar is down at the moment, need a new Tip so the Pasche I have is filling in. Think it's a combination of the paint mix and the AB....tomorrow, tomorrow, there always tomorrow it's olny a daaaaaaaaaaaay aaaaaaaaaaaaway! LOL...Sorry you asked now Chris?? ;D ;D ;D Stepping back a little for Richard, Before I started the heavy Rust inside I applied some rust shading as a base using a mix of Tamiya paints. I then used K4 Base Rust and Catalysts to create some of the rusting effects. Before After This Base and catalyst can be applied a number of ways. Base applied and wait till dry, then apply an one and/or combination of A thru H catalyst which gives you different rust color results. You can mix base and catalyst directly and apply in one step...like I did here and you can apply base and simply Airbrush the catalyst on after. The results are seen earlier with premixed method and fully within 24 hours at which time you can continue on with normal weathering or apply more of the same catalyst or even a different on to give you multi-tonal effects. I am putting together a complete review of the K4 "Rusting System" as I like to call it soon. This will be posted here on the MSC Forum. Really interesting new product along with a whole line of pigments too coming. Keep and eye out! Back on track.... After applying a clear coat I was able to give this a quick light filter and a couple of washes Using an AK Interactive Filter for NATO Tanks, Track wash and Winter Streaking Grime not fully mixed up for a pin wash of sorts... I have a last step of adding some pigment to the interior. SOme different rusting tones and light and darker soot remnants. Lastly, before I had some developing issues in the Airbrush department , I was able to get down some base color. Once I resolve the so called "issues" I am having, I hope to lay down some camo and then chip chip chip away. Thanks for stopping by to have a look see!!!

I thank you Mr. G!! Most appreciated!! Chris....((((((((LOL))))))))) Thank heavens for the little icons!!! I think you could tall a bit of frustration in my voice...ahhh, typing!! ;D I just got done over at SMA seeing Richard's post.....He certainly get an award for using locally obtained building materials!! Really great idea...can truly say, I would not have come up with that one! She will look better one I resolve the issues. I was able to salvage a couple different areas, one is the rear deck and the other oddly enough was the left side of the top hull. Mainly because the camo is suppose to look like....POO from heat from the fire! Need to go out and look at mattresses today with the Mrs. I'm hoping to get back down into the dungeon and give it another shot later on!!

Wow T, your kicking butt with this one bro. The interior looks damn good....and realistic too. The tonal variations are fantastic and spot on. The exterior color is looking good so far. Can't wait to see the upper hull being done up. ;D

Thank you Steve!! I suppose you could For you buddy...anything! I finally got something I think I can work with out of the AB tonight. A lot of the camo and paint on the underside will be removed Via Water, Alcohol and some rubbing. I will be waiting till tomorrow to attack some of the chipping along the fenders and corners. I might hit the inside with some various pigment tonight so that I can close this little beast up. I will be cutting some stock this week to start making a base. Thanks for having a peek!!!
