Good afternoon. Now that the move to a new home is complete, I have a lot of new ideas too. Some months ago I got a Duesenberg from Monogram, which is a great kit for its age. But theres light and shadow - for example the former owner already scratched spokes for the wheels, but one of them seems to be missing, some other parts as well. Think spare parts are hard to get (or too expensive), so the Duesenberg will get a special treatment, some kind of this: The kit itself: If you dont know it already, heres the most.... evil..... rat rod EVER. German engineering at its very best, powered by a 47l BMW plane engine. Can be seen in the Sinsheim museum. You even can roast some Bratwurst with it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5eDq2PWF1E

Not much time to model these days, so theres only this effort by now: painted the interior in a shabby grey plus instrument panel got a repaint with Humbrol & Vallejo paints (its chrome plated). Dry fit looks good so far.

Black primer is on. Wonder if I should overpaint it with metal colors after all?

Its a Scale75 figure, Amelia Steam if I remember it right. Scale75 has a great range of such figures in this scale.

Rear wheel installed. The Duesenberg really takes shape now. Bumpers, lights & Co. are still missing.
