I got a good deal on a Tamiya FAMO over the weekend, so what to do with it? Hmmm, Billie Jean has got that 9/2 conversion. Hmmm, so I ordered it! and then I downloaded the instructions, GULP! I figure this may become my magnum opus (I hope!) and not my white whale! will keep y'all in the loop, Joel.

I know a guy that's been building a 1/35th scale rail gun for years now (and he's working on it a couple times a week). I remember when he got the deal on it, and had to leave the show to find a bank ATM! Said the insides of the boxes scared him to death.

I love the old sailing ships (some call them "tall ships." Yet looking at something like the Constitution scares me to death! Bought one once, and gave it away.

In Box Review, kit arrived yesterday. All parts fully formed, well molded or printed. It seems that this kit, while challenging, can be built using your modeling skills, and by being patient, more to follow. Talk more soon, Joel.
