I succesfully used the chipping fluid some years ago but forgot the process.I will lay down a basecoat of enamel, after I will spray the fluid,my question is how long do I let the fluid dry before applying the acrylic topcoat, and how long do I let that dry before chipping ?
Thanks for the help.

Basecoat of enamel ??. I would use acrylic base coat. When I have painted acrylic over enamel I can chip the top coat with water and a paint brush without the need for chipping fluid because the acrylic should not adhere well to the enamel.
The chipping fluid I think you can paint acrylic over it not long after it is dry but you should not leave the top coat on long before you start chipping at it. After half an hour or so you should start and take care to be gentle so that you don't take of more than you wanted.
I have only used this twice so am not an expert. If you go to You tube and type in - How to use Chipping Fluid. There is very likely to be at least one tutorial there. If so then watching that should make your life easier. Hope this helps.

You should be good to go with the acrylics once the chipping fluid dries to the touch.
