Hi everyone, As a new member I thank you for letting me into your community. Now why I am here is this,I am planning on scratch building a German battleship catapult for my Arado 196 in 1/72nd scale! I have looked online from google, wikipedia, and my local library with no real help. When I am on google what come ups is the 1/32nd scale resin kit of what I am looking for but NOT in 1/72nd! No real drawings either that I could even try to scale up or down. Yes I know 1/72nd is a scale that most people try not to go to due to its size, but in my case I have no choice due to my living space. So with this in mind,do any of you have any idea on where I could get this information? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Check with Lone Star Models. I believe they do a series of WWII catapults.

Welcome aboard Wolf! That does seem to be an illusive animal. If you google "Hans Gally"..he did a bunch of prints and 3D stuff for the Bismarck. Might be something there you can use. I might have an extensive publication on the Tirpitz with various scale drawings...I will dig it out and see if there are any plans inside.
