Hendon Model Show 20th May 2012

Good evening gentlemen....
Today I popped up to the RAF Museum in Hendon, to a model show run by the Barnet and Hendon IPMS.A very good show to visit,with some great club stands,and a very well attended Vendor hall.
I took a few piccies,mainly in the competition room,and although the entries were on the 'light' side,shall we say.....they were of a good standard(To my eyes,anyway!)
Met up with a couple of infrequent members of MSC..Craig H and Nimbus,and a couple of me mates from MM...Keith Christie and Neil D,and had a very pleasant day in their company.On this occasion,I resisted temptation,and bought nothing to put in SUWYG!!!!!!

Ok,I'm back with a few pics....
Since my last visit,the Museum has been given a 'model' of the new Lockheed F35 'Lightning'

which looks like it will be a REALLY easy build,if anyone releases a 1/48 kit....could hardly see a panel line anywhere!!!!!
Anyway....on to where you chaps wanna see...the comp room....

wow that carrier is Crazy. some fantastic builds there, last and only time i saw hendon was in 1994..... really enjoyed it too

To be perfectly honest guys,...most of the time I forget WHO I see at most of the shows,let alone WHAT I've seen,so I took piccies of what was in the comp,and not ALL of them!!!!! ;D

PS This show reporting is not easy....I ain't doin' it again!!(Not without help,anyway! )

They are great pics Chris and it is nice to see Certain people doing the rounds and i like that i know some of the attended at the show by their current builds. Loads i havnt seen aswell though bud. Wish i went. will have to wait for newmod now.

I have seen that aircraft carrier before and was blown away by the standard and detail of the thing. Well deserved best of show for the builder.
