LOL. Yes, that haircut is really a bit strange. Further steps on the uniform jacket plus some leather straps and buckles - all done in Vallejo acryls.

Great job. Good color for the figures faces. The boys haircut was popular in that era and was often called a "bowl cut" ....'cause it looked like some one took a bowl and....well you get the idea.

This is one of my favorite busts, I hope attack him one day. Looking with great interest your progress, Lucas! Please, be careful at the textile texture of the boy, maybe a little Matt Medium in the Vallejo colour (too shiny that blue) will help you. Cheers, Nicolae

The hairstyle of the boy (and probably a few adults too) is from the era of the bust which is WW1, and very popular throughout GB at that time.Great work on this though I really like it a lot. Paul
