Greetings all Been playing around with semis lately, got this one nearly done. Synopsis as follows 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 013 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 006 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 008 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 005 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr The kit's reasonably good but not without its faults. Some more detail needs to be added and this will be accompanied by AMT's Fruehauf exterior post van which has quite a few faults but with patience builds up OK. Regards, Mark

Great looking rig Mark! Love the "surgical shot" at the beginning! Looks like you tanked this one rather well! Best of luck rolling her over the finish line!

Thanks guys Found a new ATV trail loop in the Pryor mountains last weekend 008 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr That includes views like this 055 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr the confluence of the Bighorn river and Devil's canyon, both over 1,000 feet deep at this point. I digress. Trailer's largely done 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Trying to scratch some air line gladhands; here's a trial set with glue drying before the final workup 005 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Not over sure they'll be acceptable at this point but by this time tomorrow I'll be the wiser Regards, Mark

Used to work at Swift's parts room years ago. One of the drivers I knew drove one these things, getting (I think) a penny more per mile. Climbed into his rig one time and to get to your rack, gotta climb over the engine! And this guy was a magnet for having accidents with deer and especially, bears. The shop would repair/ replace parts, but it got so banged up that Swift gave him a brand new cabover. Can you guess what happens? Two days later, he's coming around a curve in the middle of some national forest and there's a black bear in his lane with no time or space to avoid it. Brings it back to the shop and waits for the guys to fix it. Of course, we didn't have the part in stock and would be a few days before it would arrive. So the guys told the driver everything's all fixed which REALLY surprised the driver, but when he takes a look at his truck, the mechanics had painted a large Band-Aid on the damaged front end with the word OUCH!on it.

Thanks gents
The scratched gladhands turned out to be acceptable and now work has ceased on this project due to the heat. I need to build the base next and it's been 110 F out for the last two weeks which means that the garage is up to perhaps 130 F and this old boy don't do those kind of temperatures well. Don't wanna get heat stupid and saw off my hand or somesuch now. Next cool day...
Regards, Mark
