So, it's the great question of modeling/modelers. What is the greatest/best kit you were NEVER able to build....you know the one that got away.......
For me I actually have two for this list:
- Tamiya's 1/72nd scale Vosper Torpedo Patrol Boat. As a kid I saw that in catalogues and in stores, and thought "Man that just looked like the coolest thing since sliced bread'. I think the reason I never did build it, was I quickly moved out of 1/72nd, and once that door closed, well..........................
- Monogram's 1/32nd scale Ostwind. I have built all the others in that series, HECK i bought the darn thing 4 or 5 times...... Just never pull the trigger on building it.... PJ2

I don't really know - but it's probably somewhere in my stash hiding in amongst the worst kits I never built

I always wanted to build the Revell Allison Turboprop cutaway. Couldn't afford it, then couldn't find it, now, really can't afford it!

Mine would be the 1/35 80cm Dora rail gun
Simply because of its size id love the challenge, but the price is just ridiculous.

The Dora ranks up there for me as well, I came very close to buying one of the SoarArt 1/35 kits on 3 separate occasions for a very good price and each time I hesitated because of space and time involved in such a project.
In that same vein, I've also had the chance on a couple of occasions to pick up a 1/200 Bismarck with all the goodies included but opted not to.

Mine would be the Dragon 234/4. I opened the box a few times but after looking at how complex everything was and how ambitious my plans were for detailing the model with every kind of PE, I sold it off at a loss. I'm not proud.

I still have that kit #6221 sitting in the stash. No idea when/if I'll get to it!

without question it would be the Tasca Luchs. Fit was perfect, everything was perfect out of the box. Grandson really liked it, and confiscated it! gary
