Meant to post this when I started it 2 months ago. I will try to post the photo's in order of compleation...... or mistakes! After getting the wheels mounted I discovered the frame was "tweeked" a bit. ( The drivers side front wheel was a scale foot off the ground.) Cant decide if I'm going to Chrome any of the trim.... but I did add some Chrome to the firewall. It just looked too bland. The following pict. are after I HAMMERED the frame back into shape. Not the kits fault...... totally mine.

After adding the Blower to the motor I thought it was a bit too big (out of scale?) So I switched to the kit supplied Velocity stack's I also added the spark plug wires. This photo shows my second attempt. I first used a scale size wire that looked like crap. I glued the wires in from the underside of the valve covers. I had some trouble with the fuel tank. My first try I wanted the tank the same color as the body with the mounting bracket's in Chrome. But the masking tape didnt co-operate and the Chrome bleed through. so I preped 4 tanks for round 2. I also decided to use the driver figure. Added what I think is a period correct logo to his shirt. He still need's some work. The kit didn't supply a fuel pump so I scratchbashed one from bit's in my junk box. Oh yea..... almost forgot the interior shot's.

Sorry guy's. I totally forgot I was posting this WIP here. The kit supplied distributor was "lame", so I cobbled together my own Magneto using two different sizes of Evergreen tubing. The electronic's box on the side is a Square strip of Evergreen. Top of Magneto trimmed and Electrical box painted. Still need to get a decal on the box, and make some wire loom's for the spark plug wires. Got a bit more done to the driver... The shirt is a scale 2 inches thick ! ( Look's like he's wearing a "bulky sweater" ! ) There are a few detail's on him that are thick ,and need some work..... like the goggle's... He kinda look's like an "Alien invader" from Bugaloo planet. I'm planning on tinting the goggle's Transparent Blue. ( Wont help the Bugeye problem tho ... Also got the fuel pump Chromed. Hoping to get some time this weekend to "button it all up". Don't know if I'm going to be able to get the figure "sanded down to scale". ( Should I just cram a gearshift through the roof and "stuff"him in... ? )

Lookin' good so far Timmy. Engine looks great and the spark plug wires have a good and natural "lay" to them. Awesome work man.
