Hi all, after the FeR miniatures RFC pilot bust theres this guy on my bench - a British WW2 pilot. As always the bust was primed black, and thin layers of reddish brown for the leather followed (Vallejo 343, Flesh Shadows). Then a dark brown wash followed (AK). In most cases, the jackets were made from sheep skin, thats why the collar looks a bit yellowish.

Thank you T. Yeah, it was fun to paint his face, especially when you work wet in wet plus the washings. I worked on the leather cap as well, and have to say that the AK wash is really really helpful here.
