Hello everyone, here is my Andrea Miniatures 54mm metal model of Custer. It is taken from a famous photograph, taken in 1875 of a group of 7th Cavalry Officers, their wives/ladies on the Little Heart River at a camping/hunting site. I have built this model OOB apart from removing G A's spurs, I have also painted on his pinke finger of the left hand his West Point Class ring. One source on Custer claims that his LH pinkie finger was hacked off and the ring taken after his death at the Little Bign Horn, so I have painted on the ring as I found a picture showing Custer wearing such a ring during the ACW. The paints used were my usual mixture of Andrea, Vallejo and Scale 75. Please enjoy

Thanks Lads, I am about to post the second in the Andrea 7th US Cavalry models, currently the range stands at 4 models. Thanks to everyone who took the time to like and to comment. Watch out for a Captain of the 7th Cavalry 1876. Dennis
