Thanks Dierk. Here's a pic or two of where they were last week, first the 'Gal with tracks test fitted and some more weathering done: IMG_7061 by Russel Baer, on Flickr IMG_7060 by Russel Baer, on Flickr And the Batash, no tracks yet but some weathering: IMG_7062 by Russel Baer, on Flickr IMG_7063 by Russel Baer, on Flickr I was planning on using Merk2 tracks on this one, but after some more digging, I found a pic of this tank (or Academy's example) and it wears Batash tracks, so that's the plan. I did some more today, will get more pics up asap. T'anks!

Not "tomorrow", but today I had some time, and pushed ahead of the 'Gal a bit. I darkened up the mine roller attachment, wanting it to look as if it was painted separately from the tank. Left to do: some final dusting, figs, turret MGs, antennae.... not much actually, and I'm actually kind of looking forward to doing the figs on this one, very unusual for me. Glad to see you still working away on these Russ, and yes, you have to have a pointer...how else will the rest know what to be looking at?

Yup. So, Mr Black I ain't, but here they are so far: IMG_0741 by Russel Baer, on Flickr I still have some more Meng figs, and a couple of old Verlinden guys too, and the base is started. Whee! I also dug up all the 105mm ammo crates that come in both the Esci and Academy kits, and painted them. They'll make a nice stack.

Thanks Bill. Yup, closer all the time, and I vow to not start anything else until these are both done. I do have something in mind for the next one, picked it up at King's yesterday, and the plan is to do it OOB, with only a little enhancement of in the box parts, no AM, no white stuff. That's the plan anyway.
