I painted this figure for a friend of mine as a birthday present. He's a tabletop gamer playing either High Elves or Chaos faction and when told to choose from his stock he came up with this. So, well... Being not too familiar with the Warhammer universe, I first had to search the web for samples and also asked him for his wishes. The figure was finished in a little under 15 hours of work. I didn't want to take it too far for two reasons. First, I want him to play with it and not store it away in his cabinet, and second I don't want to give someone else enough reason to steal it from him at a convention when he is not watching carefully. So I didn't make any use of magnification glasses and painted only what I could see with my bare eyes. I started with black primer. For most of the part the technique used was dry brushing, followed by washes and again dry brushing. Nothing complicated. I used Citadel and Vallejo acrylics and for the cape oils as a base. Hope you like it. Now I'm looking forward to return to my Chi-Ha tank again, so I get something else finished during my holidays.      |

Thx Andy! Yesterday I finished watching 7 seasons in 7 days after I bought a Blu-ray bundle at the Amazones. WOW! My wife and I just finished watching season 5 last week between the holidays. Have to admit that we thought it was weak... hope season 6 and 7 are more exciting!? |

Andy, I must confess I already thought after the middle of season two that the plot became a little too predictable. Also there is no room left for imagination, the filming and story telling are very explicit, to put it gentle. After I got used to it, I considered the series fun entertainment, but I don't share the hype about it.
