back in 1976......... when i was just a lad . somebody gave me a copy of military modelling, and inside i discovered francois verlinden. the flakpanzer wirbelwind did it' and i was hooked... So as a tribute to him i've decided to build this, I already had the dragon kit, but could not find the crew, so a resin crew was sourced. this will be 'straight out the box' no extras, just trying to keep it simple,[ i know it's dragon] but here goes..... my only concern is the colour? i know francois painted his in pnz grey, but as this vehicle didn't arrive until 1944,would it be dk,yellow etc? any advice would be welcome, here we go......

Great start! I always wanted this kit but never got around to buy one. Yes you are correct if they were built in 1944 then theres no or little chance they were painted panzer grey. But again this hobby is supposed to be fun so you can paint it whatever you wish.

For what it's worth, your figures are in winter gear. You could do a "fresh" scheme, a slightly worn scheme, or a end of winter almost worn off scheme. I would suggest a "fresh" or "slightly worn" scheme. They seem to be the easiest schemes to master for me. Hope this helps, Joel.

I'm with the end of winter white wash that way you won't cover up the nice camo scheme you've done. Tony lee

Ahhhh the memories! I remember Francois Verlinden very well, I had a "Gold" membership (I think it was called) back in the 90s. He was my favorite.
Nice to see one of these built, nice camo and build. I have kit 6540 which is similar.
Cheers, Paul
