Don't yet know but if it works out it'll gobble a shelf queen 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr I got a BTR-60, a M-1127, two M-1129's, a boatload of figures, and a donkey Since I wanted to have all vehicles hatch open I got the two 1129's so I could steal a partial interior for the 1127. Here's where it's at now 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 004 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Need to finish scratching the bench seats and fill it up with rucks and boxes and other assorted soldier stuff. Probably not 100% accurate but as I've said elsewhere more than once I really don't care Regards, Mark

Mark, if you need to keep a pistol on your workbench you might need to buy a better quality of kit! ;<)

Thanks gents Joel you never know when they may attack The hull halves really did not wish to join but I insisted 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr PE only options. Bah I hate PE. In spite of this it didn't go too bad. Love the angle notations on the instructions I'm sure everyone gets their protractors out 005 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Parts cleanup is a little more extensive on this kit than the last one I did but it's not awful Regards, Mark

Andy thanks also, and no it's a Glock 43. I am very fond of Glocks Regards, Mark I totally didn't expect it to be a Glock because it didn't look too squared in the picture. Last summer I was in market for a new one for conceal carry purpose and I choose S&W M9 because it was thinner than the Glock I saw. But both are very good guns! Now I am hoping to buy a 1911 soon. LOL

It was just that a pistol on a modeling bench seemed unusual. Admittedly, on the other side of my modeling area is my gunsmithing corner.

This is not unusual for me. I'm never far from something that goes bang given the state of things these days. You'd not think so, but there is a very bad meth problem in Billings and the crime/murder ratio here is pretty high given a town of 100,000 or so.
Glocks are superb defensive pistols. 33 parts in the entire assembly, they work even when dirty or run over by a truck, they are accurate enough for the task at hand, easy to maintain and learn to shoot. they are also relatively inexpensive.
I do not run about armed looking for a fight; I am utterly harmless unless given reason to be otherwise.

I understand completely, I once saw a t-shirt that stated; "My doors are not locked to protect myself. They are locked to protect fools from their bad judgement".

I'm that way myself Mark. Down here in the coastal bend we've had a rash of forced entries into some homes. I have a responsibility to protect my family and I refuse for any of us to be a victim.

Hope the day never comes but best to be prepared Cleanup is time consuming on this due to the nature of the tiny, spindly little parts involved 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Wired up the smoke launchers as it looked to bare without. Prime portal is a great reference site 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr A little more fiddling, a few more parts and it's primer time Regards, Mark

Thanks gents T some have less than others, I think it was the Tammy T-55 I did not even have to scrape mold lines it was awesome Trumpy called out for light green as a hull color. I went down to the LHS with the number supplied on the painting guide only to find out this number was light grey. Not happennin sez I, and settled for NATO green which looks fairly light to me. As expected, much of the interior is invisible 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 004 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 006 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr All the standard steps y'all know well after basecoat curing time overnight. I'm happy enough with the interior exposure on this one which in reality is a dry run for the 1129 which has the ginourmous 2 door hatch for the mortar. Much more will be visible on that when I get around to building it Regards, Mark
