Thought I would Start sharing some progress shots on my 9/2 build. This is just a personal build that I am doing. Once done it will be a little over 3 feet with the boom extended and almost as tall. (No idea where I will put it once built.)
The build will include 3D printed parts/cast resin parts/laser cut/hand machined and scratchbuilt so a little bit of everything going on here.
The frame is made from laser cut acrylic where I will graft the front end on once ready. I did this to avoid breaking it off a few 100 times when I was working on the rear end.
I mostly just blew up my drawings from my 35th scale kit but since there is no 16th kit available I am having to do the rest of the Famo so it will be slow going. Wrapped up the suspension tonight so onto the final drive and transmission.. Hope you enjoy it.
