Z-31 Zerstorer "I gotta take a ship!" 2/26 Done!

Thought this was gonna have to be delayed but I got 1 of my AM goodies delivered. The other AM piece, a wood deck, will takes some more time but it's only for the main bridge so there's lots that can be done so this is back at center stage. Spent to morning getting some excellent flow putting some of the armament together. HOLY CRAPOLA this is small stuff. You can just make out a little smile on Abe's face.

I know from whence you come. The guns on my Z-25 and Prinz Eugen gave me fits, but it is worth the effort as you have shown.

A new level of fun with this build. Not only that actual build itself but catching all the Dragon errors. Details in the drawing that don’t match parts, wrong part numbers, some really stupid sprue gates placements and, my favorite, locator holes that make for some interesting part placement.







Making headway. No way I was ever going to get the PE detonators on those mines. Besides, they are flat and pointy and from the photos I found the detonators on the 1:1 are not. So micro drill and 0.006 wire to the rescue. I think I need to shorten them up a bit.





A mockup of the present state of things. The PE is no where near as impressive as the stuff I’ve witnessed here but fun none the less.
