If you're using the Blast detail set, note that the replacement engine deck rear grilles are the Czech type. I imagine that any T-55's in Afghanistan would have been Russian-built, for which the kit rear grilles are appropriate.
It's hard to tell from the box art photo, but does the DEF wheel set include the enlarged hub on 2 wheels for the front wheel station each side? Only the 1958 production T-55s had the normal small hubs at the front, as per T-54. Although that's not to say that they might not have been replaced by the small type somewhere along the line. The larger ones certainly pop up where they shouldn't be, like on T-62's.

LOL! I totally lost my mojo so the wrecked T-55 was put aside many years ago. I have started few builds after this but I couldn't finish anything until recently that I finally finished a Spitfire in 1/48.

I haven't done much more work on the T-55 except for adding some wirings. I am glad I stopped because I took soldering seminar by Rob at AMPS Nats and I think I can try soldering the fenders for the T-55 because it will look and work better if I want them damaged. Just don't ask me when I will resume working on it because I think I have about 7-8 shelf queens right now that needs to be finished! LOL

Anything that strong to make the pain in my legs, knees, back and arms go away instantly. LOLOLOL Thanks for the welcome!
