Hello all, here is my first completed figure for 2018. It is a Tommy's War 54mm resin figure code no: TW32032. Tommy's War market this as a member of the 1st Bn Wellington Regiment of the now rightly famous ANZACS at the 'Battle of Chunuk Bair.' I decided to show him, by virtue of the leather belt and Bandolier equipment as a member of the Wellington Mounted Rifles who also took part in that very trying action. The model is built OOB apart from the rifles sling which was made from paper and .003 lead wire and the bayonet scabbard which I replaced with foil to show in a more active manner. The paints used were acrylics from Andrea Scale 75 and Vallejo. Thanks for popping in. Dennis

Hi Dennis!
Great to see another fine project from you. So full of atmosphere, the ANZAC soldier seems to me very integrated in. If I understood well, the Tommy figurines have a very good quality. Cheers, Nicolae

Hi lads thanks for the comments and likes I am sorry I have not been around to thank you sooner but my dear wife has been in hospital with bladder cancer so my mind is somewhat occupied, the good news is despite loosing a kidney and related tubing the surgeon says he got all the cancerous growth in her bladder. Now there remains a long road to recovery so modelling is taking a back seat. Thanks again lads, Nicolae the Tommys War are worth a looksee. Dennis
