Medeina, the Lithuanian Princess of the Spring and Forests

Hi everyone,
It became so difficult for me to get some free time for painting! So, maybe this kind of occasion, making a gift for a friend, is coming to have better success.
What you're gonna see it's a special project of this kind. I had this minibust for almost 2 years and every time I was look at it, I always pass over missing any good idea. Now, I found a good idea and I considered it was, finally, the time for attacking this old bust from La Ruota Miniatures. Cast in metal, it has a fine sculpture, almost nothing to clean!
I'll use it to create a work speaking about a Lithuanian version of Roman goddess, Diana (or Athemis for Greeks). Her name is Medeina and regarding her atributes it seems she has a Yin-Yang composition, a good spirit but also with some demonic, she could harm too those looking for troubles in her forest or attacking animals.
So, you have some photos for inspiration then some phases of work. I decided to create a small natural corner, so I'll fix three small pieces of branches, picked last autumn in the park.
As always, all is done with Vallejo, Scale 7 and Jo Sonja acryllics and by brushes.
I hope you like it. I know, I have some crazy ideas, everyone is fighting with low temperature and a last ferocious rise of the winter (in Romania too) and I'm persisting looking for...Spring spirits, signs and so on
