There's nothing wrong with that - I think most modellers have a favourite subject to which they return again and again. That's why manufacturers issue a constant stream of Panthers, Tigers, Bf/Me 109s and Spitfires. I built the Matchbox boxing of the AMT kit when I was at school (half a Century ago...), I'm probably overdue to look at the subject again.
Regards,
M

Thanks for the heads up. I've just checked my usual pusher and they are knocking it out for ninety quid. That's twenty quid more than the truck and the Cobra individually. It might have been worth it for the trailer, bells and whistles if I hadn't got an unbuilt '53 Ford in the stash. I still have my childhood build of the Cobra somewhere but it will probably be less hassle to build a new one rather than try to recondition the glue bomb. I'm grateful for you setting my addled brain in motion...
Cheers,
M

Moramarth where are you? In the US it is going for $55.00 or less. PM me and maybe we can work something out.

Thanks for the kind offer, Joel, but my stash runneth over... I've got enough stuff to keep me going through my next two incarnations after this one. The Ford truck is pretty high on my "Build it" bucket list, but even so any action on it seems remote at this point. I still suffer from impulse buying (especially "bargains"), but occasionally reality intervenes. A couple of years ago (it doesn't seem that long) I picked up some kits from a local charity shop donated by the relatives of some modeller gone to the great Hobby Shop in the sky (initially I bought one kit, went back a few days later and got another, rinse and repeat). After the fourth time the lady taking my money politely asked "How long will it take you to build that?". Reality bit and I responded "Actually, it's just going to sit in my spare room for a few years before it comes back here and brings a lot of new friends with it". Since then I've been giving stuff away almost as much as I've been buying it...
Cheers,
M
