Man, you work fast ! I would still be "sniffing" the part's at this point...... and trying to decide what "Optional stuff" I was going to stick on it. I have another one, so please let us know if there are any "What the Heck" moment's. So I can build mine with at least a "little" Knowledge of what I'm up against.

I'll definitely let you know if any What the Heck moments come up! So far it's a nice clean build. No fit issues and very little clean up.Hope to get some painting started tomorrow.

Leaf springs on the rear axle of a racing car. That's how it was done in the past, yeah!

Evening fellas! Made some more progress. The engine has been painted, wired, and decals on the valve covers. The frame has paint and if you notice the engine compartment is painted white as the 1:1 car.Still need to do some detail painting and add decals to the dash.I had an issue with wheels. The holes on the back are to big and caused a really sloppy fit on the suspension.I ended up filling them in with a piece of plastic rod and drilling them to fit the suspension. That are super-short exhaust pipes and no mufflers. Must roar like tank!

Tobi, this is strictly a race car so no mufflers are needed.Roar like a tank, you better believe it.

Evening fellas! Came home from work and masked off the white and sprayed a coat of silver on in preparation for the blue.Let this sit for a few hours and then sprayed on the Tamiya racing blue.Have a little bleed through which i can touch up with a brush and some gloss white.Next up is more masking so i can paint the interior roof.Really happy with how the paint came out. Thank you Timmy! It's not the right blue for the car. It's a metallic blue and i like it with the white.
