Been playing World of Warships for a while and have the urge to build a ship...........which is not my forte. Looking for some kit recommendations on a kit that's not to crazy (build wise) and not to crazy big. Just something fun to tinker with, maybe get the mojo going again. Maybe US or even Japanese.

One factor to consider is that 1:350 really needs photo-etch to look good, on smaller stuff while PE improves things you can get away without it (IMO). If you just want to dip a toe in the water I'd suggest giving 1:700 a look, but don't go smaller than 1:720 (I picked up an Italeri "Admiral Scheer" in that scale on the cheap recently, and in the box it looks really nice).
