The VW should prove a nice little diversion from the ordinary Rob, looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Thanks guys for the comments. Doubt I'll get to work on the base until after I come back from the IPMS Nats in Tennessee next week. Same goes for the VW's base. The beetle is done, other than some touch ups later when she is on the base. I replaced the two door windows with thin clear plastic, and for the broken rear side window I used the new Glass Kit from Das Werk. The glass is actual glass, very thin strips of glass.

Nice use of the Uschi kit on the broken glass, definitely adds some character to the Bug!

After starting the KV-2 five years ago, I finally finished the model and she is on a base. Good to get one more shelf queen done and out of the way. I also finished the Brummbar and base. I can't show much as it will be in an issue of MMI. I won't be posting much of what I am working on as it is for a magazine issue I think in Jan.2020. I only have three months to finish this project that includes several vehicles.....no pressure right!! LOL I might post some teaser pics .
