Takom Tiger II

So here is I with a project started 15 months ago. It has a full interior that has many, many tiny little well molded parts to keep the most ardent rivet counter dazzled and unable to complain about lack of detail.

I work on this 'till it becomes too obnoxious at which point it gets shelved until I get the urge to work on it again. So far the hull interior is complete and I have closed it up, currently working on the turret interior.




Fit's not the best but one can work with it. I have no idea when I will get this finished

Finally grew some backbone and finished this one. Fit was pretty iffy all the way thru and there was a lot of interference. I decided to use Fruil tracks instead of the kit supplied link and length given the way the rest of the thing went together

















I'll be putting this on a base as is my usual custom...only probem is I've not yet dreamed it up

You'd never know it had issues by looking at it. I like the overall color too.

CD no not really, the quality of Takom's molding makes up for said troubles. I'm now aware of what I'm facing with one of their offerings however, it takes a bit extra effort to get 'em where they're going
