Good Day Folks! Another project that I ann working on, Lindberg 1966 Chevy Chevelle SS 1/25 Scale. "Rusted and Forgotten" This will be part of a diorama I am working on, which will hopefully include a scratch built barn. This is my first attempt using an 1/25 scale model for a "rusty" project. Any comments, constructive criticism, or guidance is greatly appreciated. -Steven

Good Day Folks! This is turning into a fun and educational experance. I tried out the "salting" technique, I think the results are ok for a first try. I need to add more layers and highlights. -Steven

Yep, practice is the key. You have to get a feel and eye for it. If you think 'I should or could have done this or that' then you've learned from it and will do better next time around. Also look at it and think, what can I do to enhance or improve what I have. Try different things out and you'll soon see that there is so much that can be done. There is no one way of doing things and building up thin layers will add to the effects.
