Malta blue spitfires apparently are a bit of a controversy.............this is my interpretation after some reading, but not overly in depth.
Ultracast Exhaust and wheels, rest if OOB. The wing roots don't join at all and had to be filled with plasticard and some homemade sprue goo. Basically if you start gluing from the wing tips in, panel lines line up and it leaves a gap at the wing root. Built the non Trop version back in 2002/2003 but I don't remember that issue, but that' was a long time ago so maybe.
