Posting my latest work... I like to include figures to all of my armor builds. It simply bring life! I have to say Dragon figure sets are getting better and better with the recent releases. I used three figures from this set to go with my StuG III Ausf F/8. I plan to create my first diorama later this summer... Am I only one to notice... personal gears are getting better from Dragon? The tank commander is from Tank resin set... pricey but great details espcially the head. Primed with Mr Surfacer... In process.. Completed... The Ammo Boy (missing K98 rifle) The MuleThe RamboComments and feedback are always welcome! Hope I see more people here who enjoy figure painting as much as I do.

LOL! I will do that. Coming from FSM where Figures forum was never that popular I was hoping I'd see more figure builds here. I enjoy painting figures more than doing the armors... don't tell other guys I said this. Look out for another thread coming up later...

Thanks Nemo! Agree with you about those resin figures. I have few in my stash but I hate spending $30-$35 just for two figures. While you can get a lot more from Dragon and they have been getting better and better. I can always replace their heads with better resin heads if necessary.
Rob- Jap plane? Jeez I think I better dial 9-1-1. I don't blame ya! Sometimes we need a change. I took a break from armor recently and built a Huey last February and I actually had fun. It brought home an award from recent model show. Don't be alarmed if I build one of those rotary things...

Tobias- Thanks!!! Gary- Holy cow! This is what I needed as I am always looking for improvements. I will get me a Milliput next time I shop at my local shop. Believe it or not I have not used this product... I do have the green stuff from Squadron if I am correct. Thank you again for your help! Chris- You are way too nice! I agree about newer Dragon figure sets... I have been buying almost every set they released. Next time I think I will go easy on using dark washes as I am afraid I may have applied too much. I usually use heavily thinned W&N oil paint Raw Umber or Burnt Umber. Thanks again!

Chris- WOW! Nice figures especially the camo. I never thought about using AK Streaking products... I will give it a shot next time I do figures. Thanks for the tip! Definitely will look out for Chris' threads. Ross- Thanks again for the info! No way, I don't understand why Dragon is going to phase Gen2 figs? I think they are most desired figure sets out there... Spud- Thanks for the nice words! I can send you some if you can send me some of Irish beer...

Andy you will be surprised what you can do with the AK stuff.........it's all up to the user. I did filters and shading on a 200mm Verlinden bust and weathered a burnt out 41 Chevy pick up. So you see, it's not just for armor and what it says on the bottle.

Andy, Figures look great! I like the shading effects that your washes have achieved. Nice work.

Rob- I have been thinking more about this and it mades sense now. Using AK interactive will allow me to have better control where I want the dark washes to be. Will try that on my next figure to go with Pz III K. Thanks boss!
Nate- Thanks man! Glad you liked the figures. Took me about three weeks to work on those figures. Used three or four different shades on the uniform. Then at the end I am afraid I went crazy using oil dark washes. So next time I will try AK washes... thanks again!

Thanks man! Sending over more COLD iced tea. LOL Glad you liked them! There's my rule... every armor must have a figure or more. So you will see more... thanks again.
