Hi guys! It's been a while----lots of life issues is eating up my time. Here's my build of "Big Joseph" from Dust Models. All resin, great kit that fell together. Sublime decals that needed no solvent at all. I took it to Wonderfest last week in Louisville, Kentucky and she took Gold. (one of only two given in the vehicles category) My wife says I'm quite pleased with myself right now. (she's right!) ;D Enjoy! BTW----she was an absolute BLAST to build! Thanks for looking! ;D

Hey neb, great build and congrats on the gong.
I have to agree with you when you say it was a blast to build. I built the Jagdluther as a 'return to modelling' project. Never had so much fun with a model, took so little effort to clean up and put together, and then straight into painting and weathering. Really like the blades.
A little expensive, and Dust seem to be focusing on 1/48, but your build might just tempt me to make a return to the world of Dust.
Again, great work and thanks for sharing.
Chris.

Hi Neb, beautiful job and congrats on the deserved gong mate. I love the Dust universe concept and wish I had the funds to spend out on a whole load of their stuff right now but other things keep getting in the way. One day I'll get some because they look amazing and offer something unique for us. Your metal effects on the props look absolutely gorgeous, what did you use ? I shot the prop with Alclad polished Aluminum over a base coat of Tamiya Gloss black. The next day I coated with the new Alclad ALC-600 Aqua clear gloss----which BTW does not alter the raw metal effects of the Alclad at all! ;D Great stuff and water based. Next day I taped off the blades and sprayed Tamiya Red for the props. Sadly the blades looked waaaaaaay tooooooo shiny when done----too new----so I sprayed a matte coat to tone it down. It killed me to do that.... ;D
