Hi Gentlemen, These 3 Heavies were all built in 2010. The Ferdinand is Dragon built OOB. The Tiger Is Academy Early w/interior OOB plus a few small scratched stuff and Techmod Decals. The Jagdtiger is Dragon with all welds being redone with evergreen styrene, and a Photoetch set that i cant remember for the life of me which brand it was. Got it from my nephew. It was dark grey colored brass. As if that helps. Outstanding work on those big cats!!! I really dig the camo work on the Tiger. Are all of the tracks indy or DS?

Thanks Andy! They are all individual link. Of course the Dragons are the lovely MagicTracks. The Academy links had huge, deep ejector pin marks. I filled every last one and sanded. AAARRRGGG!!! Not fun. John, Thanks bro! That was the first Model i ever went all out with photoetch, weld beads and the like, so im pretty partial to it as well. ;D Gary

Thanks for getting these up Gary. Hey Rob, I built the interior with no extra work and is kinda simplified. It is a good base for alot of scratched goodies i guess. The extirior, I added some welds, smoke discharger wireing, Wire grab handles, And i robbed some engine screens from another kit as the Academy ones are horrendous, and i had to add some details to the Fifel filter intake area. Anyways, it was a fun experience! Gary

Yeah I know what you mean. I've started adding torch cuts and can see that welds are in order as well. I'll use the tools from the Dragon kit and some PE and Fruils, but that will be about it. Started on the int as well. Yeah very simplified but for 'through the hatch' it's ok. Painting will be the fun part.

Lovely work Gary! I like everything, but what jumps out at me is the camo pattern on the Tiger. Stupendous!

Hi Gary, these are superb!
What I immediately noticed is that the camos are strong patterns but you have managed to restrain them just enough, so they don't overpower the models. Perfect! The weathering and shading is just right and highlight the details without obscuring them.
Really nice!
Cheers JT
