When it comes to rigging, the sky is the limit, but you can already achieve a good impression with just some basic work, believe me. But don't expect any ship modeler to approve it!  I bought some literature on this topic and it depends largely on nation and time period how it was done, and there is so much to take into consideration, one must inevitably fail! The painting stage for achieving good wood effects will be challenging as well, I know from my Viking long ship... |

I originally got into modeling to build models like this. I gave it a try and now I build armor models. I have mad respect for anyone who can do this. Bravo sir!

After 16 months of working on this. It's finally done. Not perfect in any way, but i'm happy with how it turned out. I just discovered your build. I admire your perseverance in getting the rigging done. My build is stalled at that step. |
